Warm Shadow is a VR game. It has been played by over 100 people at 3 different galleries and public spaces in New York. We as a team of two programmers, an audio designer, a 2D animator spent 5 months on it with our free time (we all have another main daily duty in school or company). We will publish it on Steam/ Viveport soon.
My roles are the director and lead artist.
The main character named Shadow, a kind warm shadow differentiated from other evil ones. It is a representation of the player's dark side that needs a player's help to grow up in a moral way by defeating other people's evil shadows. Eventually, save the human world and shadow world.
Players will borrow power from their shadow and use it as weapons to physically hit enemies. Also, they can shootout their shadow as an extension of their hand grabbing objects or attacking enemies from a long distance.
